TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A beautification project is underway right now at Tallahassee's Ft. Braden Elementary School.
From power-washing, to mowing, and gardening too, the folks you see are all volunteers, working to clean up and enhance the school.
"We live in the community and that is the reason we feel a need to give back," said Surekha Kishore of Deloitte Consulting. "Everybody actually looks froward to this kind of event and I've done it for the last 18 years in Tallahassee at various locations."
This is part of a larger nationwide service project called, Impact Day, sponsored by PR firm Deloitte Services, featuring more than 24,000 volunteers at over 1,000 community projects.
