TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission says a bear was found dead in Tallahassee.
FWC's Bekah Nelson says that a FWC officer responded to a call of an animal on the side of Capital Circle and Stoneler Road.
After receiving the call, the agency sent out a contractor to remove the animal around 9:30 a.m.
When they arrived, they found a deceased 150 pound female bear. They believe that the bear was killed on a collision with a a car.
