LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Leon County and the National Weather Service of Tallahassee are encouraging citizens to download the "Leon County Citizens Connect Mobile App."
Officials say, the app is the community's best source of emergency and disaster information delivered right to your smart-phone or mobile device through push notifications.
The joint press conference demonstrated, how the mobile technology receives and distributes national weather service "Watches and Warnings".
The NWS is also recognizing Leon County as a "Weather-Ready Ambassador".
