BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WTXL)--A suspected drug dealer is off the streets and in jail.
Bainbridge Public Safety officers say they received a tip that a drug dealer was driving in the Bainbridge area over the weekend. They say when they found the car matching the description, it turned onto Fountain Drive.
They say the suspect, Devario Hicks, got out and tried to run away from officers.
Officers say they arrested Hicks, and that he was in possession of one ounce of crack cocaine, four ounces of marijuana, and more than $400 in cash.
Hicks was arrested for drug trafficking, and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
