BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WTXL)-- Bainbridge Public Safety officers make a cocaine arrest.
Officers say the man spotted police officers and investigator Chris Jordan saw him drop an amber-colored pill bottle in the backyard of a home.
On April 27, several officers including investigator Jordan, responded and observed a man wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans walking on Fleming Street. This happened after they received a tip from the public.
Investigator Jordan began talking with the man, identified as 34-year-old Travis Leon Harris. While Captain James Dollar stood by with Harris, Investigator Jordan walked over to the pill bottle and found crack cocaine inside the bottle.
Harris was arrested and later admitted the cocaine was his. He was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
