BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WTXL) - Bainbridge Public Safety makes its largest spice bust in the history of the department.
After many complaints and tips regarding potential drug deals on Sharpe Street, Bainbridge Public Safety followed those tips and made some arrests.
Throughout the day Friday, four men were caught lingering around a suspected drug house and arrested and charged with possession of controlled substances.
Among those substances were hydroxide pills, several jars of marijuana, and bags of spice.
A search warrant for the suspected drug house turned up dozens of bags of spice, pills, and $5,000 dollars in cash.
The community reported several tips regarding the house and potential drug deals.
"They’ve got to realize, they might not think it’s sufficient information, but when we do get information, we put that together with information that we’ve gained and other citizens have provided," said Mark Esquivel, Bainbridge Public Safety Investigator. "All together, sometimes that gives us enough to act on."
Bainbridge Public Safety reminds people living in the community to report any suspicious behavior, even if it seems small.
