BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WTXL) - An arrested has been made in a large-scale marijuana operation out of Bainbridge.
The Bainbridge Public Safety says that on Thursday afternoon, they were alerted of a marijuana operation in the 1600 block of Libby Street.
Officers say they searched the home and found Rodriquez Deontae Cheatham, 23, in possession of approximately 8 pounds of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and $5,757 in cash.
They say the marijuana had been boxed and shipped to Cheatham through the U.S. Mail.
Investigators say they are using package labeling and tracking information to gather details about others who may have been involved in the operation.
