Bainbridge Man Sentenced to 25 Years for Drug Charges

BAINBRIDGE, GA (WTXL) - A Bainbridge drug dealer has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.

Forty-two year old Leonard Hoskins was sentenced to 25 years this week for possessing methamphetamine with the intent to distribute it, according to the Department of Justice.

The DOJ says plead guilty to the charges in March, admitting that he got several ounces of meth in Atlanta and began selling it in Bainbridge.

Hoskins was caught after being pulled over for speeding on I-75 in June of 2014. At the time authorities say he had a pound of meth on him as well as $3,433.

Hoskins will serve out his term in a federal prison.
