DOUGHERTY COUNTY, Ga. (WTXL)--A Bainbridge man is dead after a head on collision in Dougherty County.

Georgia State Patrol Troopers say 54-year old William Curtis Malone was driving a Mini Cooper south on Tarva Road. They say he crossed the center line for unknown reasons and hit a Chevy Malibu head-on Monday night. Malone was killed.

32-year old Kimberly McGie of Newton, Georgia was driving the Chevy. Troopers say she was taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital with a broken leg, neck, and pelvis.

Her dog was in the car and died on impact.
