BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WTXL) -- A suspected arsonist wanted by Bainbridge Public Safety since August was captured in Broward County Tuesday.
Brandi Renee Gaddis was arrested and will be extradited to Decatur County in connection with a fire that injured one of the agency's captains.
Investigators say Gaddis got into a fight with a friend's family member and two days later set her home, on Martin Luther King Jr. Dr., on fire.
During efforts to control the fire, the front porch collapsed, seriously injuring Captain Shannon Dunaway. Dunaway is no longer hospitalized but is still recovering from his injuries.
