BACONTON, GA (WALB) - One Baconton church just keeps on giving.
Saint James Missionary Baptist Church gave away its second car this year.
Pastor Lawrence Knighton says by giving away the cars, the Church is making a difference outside its walls.
This time it was given to a young man who has attended the church for many years, and he felt that difference.
"It's just been a blessing to see him grow up and still be an academic scholar as well as athletics, and who better to give a car to than a young man who's been amazing since I've been here," said church pastor Lawrence Knighton.
"It was a blessing I mean I was very surprised, very very overwhelmed, and at a loss for words," said Kentrevious Williams, who received the car.
The money to pay for the cars comes from various donors in the community.
The church wants this to encourage people to try to be a blessing to others.
