OSPREY, Fla. -- A man in Sarasota County greeted a strange visitor at his home on Monday.
The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office says the resident found a baby alligator in his office.
SCSO says the alligator is less than three feet long.
Animal services released the critter into a nearby lake.
Nobody knows how the gator got inside the home or how long he had been there.
