HUNAPU, Guatemala (CNN/RNN) – An infant was found apparently unharmed in a home that had been covered by volcanic ash.
A video shows rescuers carrying a baby through an ash-covered doorway and handing her to another rescue worker.
The baby’s rescue was a bit of good news amid the grim rescue and recovery operation in Guatemala.
The Fuego volcano eruption death toll keeps rising, with at least 69 people killed after the Sunday eruption.
Many of the bodies have been burned beyond recognition, the Associated Press reported.
