TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Following a competition last night, Awesome Tallahassee chose its next winner for a $1,000 grant.
Richard Stafford's idea to repaint a mural at the VFW post on West Tennessee street was the big winner.
The mural depicts the history of VFW from the Spanish American War to sections of the wall showing World War I, World War II, and other wars fought overseas.
Awesome Tallahassee hands out the grants each month.
