WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) - An autopsy report shows the fatal gunshot fired by a police officer at a legally armed black musician tore through the victim's ribs, aorta and both lungs.

The report from the Palm Beach County Medical Examiner released Friday said Corey Jones was hit three times in both arms and his chest. The fatal bullet landed near his upper left arm.

The Palm Beach Post reports the autopsy was completed less than 10 hours after Palm Beach Gardens Police officer Nouman Raja shot Jones in October. Jones' SUV was stalled on the side of the road. He'd gotten out and called for a tow truck when Raja pulled up in an unmarked car, wearing civilian clothes. Jones never fired his weapon.

Raja has pleaded not guilty to one charge each of attempted murder and manslaughter by culpable negligence.
