Autopsy Expected Wednesday On Person Shot By Gretna Police

GRETNA, Fla. (WTXL)--Gadsden County deputies tell us an autopsy is expected to be performed Wednesday on a person shot and killed by police in Gretna.

Gadsden County deputies say around 9:30 Tuesday morning, Gretna police responded to a home on Cornelius Harris Lane to a domestic issue.

Deputies say at some point a tazer was discharged and a police officer shot a man.

Gretna Police Chief Carlos De La Cruz says the officer involved, Sgt. Charles Brown, is on administrative leave with pay, pending the outcome of the investigation.
