VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - The Valdosta Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at the J K Food Mart.
Police say a man robbed the the J K Food Mart at 739 Old Statenville Road near Lake Park Blvd and Ulmer Avenue with an unspecified weapon. He left the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
They say the robbery happened around 1:50 p.m. Authorities suspect it was an isolated incident.
No injuries were reported in the incident. An investigation is ongoing.
