COOK COUNTY, Ga. (WTXL) - Investigators said that a body has been found inside a home in Sparks after a citizen reported a foul smell.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said that the body was found by the Sparks Police Department on Thursday.
GBI said that they were asked to assist with the investigation.
No one was living at the home in the 100 block of West Bryan Street where the body was found.
GBI said that the body has not been identified and that an autopsy will be performed at the GBI Crime Lab in Macon.
