TIFTON, Ga. (WTXL) - Authorities are investigating the death of an 18-year-old who was found dead inside a vehicle in Tifton Thursday morning.
According to WALB, the Tift County Sheriff and the Georgia State Patrol have roped off an area of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
The body has now been identified as 18-year-old Kenyada Mitchell.
WALB reports that body was found in a vehicle after a 911 call Thursday morning. The vehicle was found in a wooded area of Emerson O'Bynes Avenue.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is also aiding in the investigation. Anyone with information in the case is asked to call the Tift County Sheriff’s Office at (229) 388-6020 or the GBI Sylvester office at (229) 777-2080.
