TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi is urging Home Depot customers to closely monitor their financial activity following an investigation into a possible data breach.
Bondi says if you suspect that you data has been compromised, contact your financial institution immediately.
Bondi has worked with the legislature on the Florida Information Protection Act.
This legislation better protects Floridians' personal information by ensuring that businesses and governmental entities take certain measures to protect personal information and report data breaches to consumers.
