TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Police are asking for your help in identifying the suspects involved in two attempted car-jackings in Tallahassee.
Tallahassee Police Department said that the two incidents happened on Thursday within about 5 minutes of each other in the area of South Meridian Street. The victims who reported the jackings both described two black males, one armed with a handgun.
Police said that in the first incident, both men began to approach the victim's car as she was driving on Meridian Street. As the armed male approached the car, she sped away from them and called 911.
In the second attempted car-jacking, a few minutes later, the second victim called and reported that two men ran to catch up with his car, according to police. One man asked him a question while the other pointed a gun at him, demanding his stuff. Police said the victim and suspects exchanged words before the victim drove away and the suspects ran off.
The first suspect is described as a light-skinned, black male about 6 feet tall and 180 lbs. Police said he had a clean cut short haircut and was wearing black shorts and a white T-shirt. The second is described only as a teenager.
Nobody was injured during the incidents.
