ATLANTA (AP) - DeKalb County police say a teenage girl has been shot in southeast Atlanta.
Police say the girl was shot Wednesday evening at an apartment complex and was taken to a local hospital.
Information on her condition was not immediately available. Police say the girl was not the intended target of the gunfire, and authorities are searching for several people who fled the area after the shot was fired.
Authorities are unsure of the circumstances that led up to the shooting.
