ATF Investigating Explosive Device at Tift Regional Medical Center

TIFT CO., Ga. (WTXL) - The parking lot at the Tift Regional Medical Center was closed off, after an employees car was damaged Thursday morning.

According to officials, an unidentified person placed a small device - similar to fireworks - on the car around 3:00 a.m.

The device lit up, shattering the windshield of the vehicle.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, is now investigating the incident with the police and fire departments.

There are no suspects at this time, but they are looking through surveillance video.
