TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Some recent reports of sexual assaults and attempted abductions near FSU's campus is making one local business step up to keep students safe.
The Martial Arts and Self Defense Academy on North Monroe Street says they've seen an influx in recent requests for classes.
Now, they've created a new women's self defense class, teaching different moves. They say the class, taught by women, is tailored to increase confidence and women empowerment.
