VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - Valdosta Police catch five people in the act of a home burglary.
Demetrius Smith, William Berrian, and Kendrick Thomas, along with two minors, were arrested around noon Thursday.
Officers say the five were burglarizing a home on Tyndall Drive, when officers got the call from a concerned citizen.
Officers arrived on scene. Four of them ran away and the other was caught and arrested on scene.
Once all were caught, the three adults were taken to the Lowndes County jail, and the other two were sent to a juvenile center.
All five are charged with felony burglary. Four are also charged with obstruction of an officer.
