18 Arrested in South Georgia Drug Bust

TIFTON, GA (WTXL) - Deputies have arrested 18 people from throughout South Georgia, including seven from Tifton, after a month of drug busts.

According to a statement from the Tift County Sheriff's Office, deputies from Tift as well as surrounding counties served warrants on various individuals throughout the month of March. These reportedly stemmed from an investigation into a drug trafficking organization in the county, the statement said.

The organization had reportedly been distributing large amounts of marijuana, heroin, and methamphetamine. Before the recent arrests, deputies said they seized approximately five pounds of methamphetamine, five ounces of heroin and multiple pounds of marijuana. Law enforcement also reportedly seized approximately $55,000 in cash linked to a drug distribution network.

Arrested and charged with Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine, Cocaine, Cocaine Base, Heroin and Marijuana are the following individuals:

Antron Miles, age 46 and in custody of the Georgia Department of Corrections

Rejhan Mujanovic, age 25 and in custody of the Georgia Department of Corrections

Jamie Crews, age 42 who is in federal custody

Jimmy Taylor, age, 41, 25 Eldorado, Tifton, GA

Law Enforcement agencies who took part and assisted in the investigation include the Tift County Sheriff’s Office, Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Mid-South Narcotics Task Force, Drug Enforcement Administration Macon Office, Ben Hill County Sheriff’s Office, South Central Drug Task Force, Georgia Department of Corrections, United States Postal Service, Office of Inspector General and the Sheriff’s Offices in Crisp, Brantley, Berrien, Cook, Dooly, Lee and Ware counties and the Tifton Police Department.
