TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - A warrant has been issued for the arrest of FSU's De'Andre Johnson, according to the State Attorney's Office.

The Tallahassee Police Department released the warrant with the probable cause on Tuesday morning.

Johnson turned himself over to the Leon County Jail sometime after the warrant was released on Tuesday.

In the report, police say that Johnson began pushing and punched a woman at Yianni's nightclub on Raven Street on Wednesday, June 24.

Officers say they reviewed a video from the club which showed that Johnson began "aggressively pushing" the victim from behind before she turned to face him at the bar.

She then raised her arm over her head to defend herself. Police say Johnson is seen grabbing her arm in the video and pushing her.

The victim is then seen raising her knee to shove him away and trying to hit Johnson with her other arm.

Police say that is when Johnson punched the victim in the left side of the face.

Last Thursday, Florida State University said the Freshman Quarterback was indefinitely suspended for violating athletic department policy. They would not confirm what policy was violated.
