Tallahassee, Fla. (WTXL)- Tallahassee Police Department announced they have arrested a man for a fatal hit-and-run crash.
According to TPD, the crash happened in December on West Tennessee Street and Appleyard Drive.
Police say, Deontae Johnson was driving around midnight when he ran a red light, causing the crash. Officials say two other cars were involved.
One of those drivers, Tyriq Jamal Roberts, 17, was pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigators say Johnson took off after the crash but was later identified.
He's now charged with vehicular homicide, leaving the scene of a crash involving death and injury, among other charges.
