VALDOSTA, GA (WTXL) -- Valdosta police are investigating an armed robbery early Friday morning.
Police say it happened just before 2 a.m. near the intersection of Bemiss Road and Langdale Place.
A man told officers he was walking back to his apartment complex from a store on Ashley Street, when three black men approached him, demanding money. He said they stole his wallet and a pack of cigarettes and took off south on Bemiss Road.
The victim claimed two of the men had handguns. Officers responded but couldn't find the suspects. No injuries were reported.
