VALDOSTA, GA. (WTXL)-- A man has been arrested after police sat he tried to rob the Walmart on Inner Perimeter Road, Thursday.
Valdosta Police say the 29 year old, William Brazelton went inside the store and around 4:30 and approached the center counter. Brazelton then handed the cashier a note demanding money while suggesting he had a weapon.
Employees were able to contact police, who got there in time to arrest Brazelton for Armed Robbery.
This Crime comes days after bomb threats were called in to the same Walmart. Police do not believe the two incidents are connected.
