The two suspects fled the scene of the crime in the two separate vehicles. They left the scene and headed west on Hwy 20 before Fryson crashed into the back of another vehicle in Liberty County.

The car rolled several times and Nutter assisted Fryson in to her car. Both suspects left. The suspects made it to Calhoun County and stole a phone. The pair continued on Hwy. 20 and soon after they were captured 4 miles east of the Bay County Line.
