TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Rain, wind and stormy conditions are having their fair share of economic impacts slowing down construction and renovation projects across the Capital City.

Childers Construction is currently working on improvements to Doak Campbell Stadium and the neighboring Landford Green.

The project manager there says every day it rains his crews have to stop working.

"All this current weather were having is causing a lot of problems," said Jason Gassett. "It's a constant battle."

Gassett's crews are working to install a new score board at Doak and make improvements to the U-Club. The work has to be complete by football season and the weather puts his team in danger of missing their deadline.
