TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - One group in Tallahassee continued their push against proposed cuts and caps to medicaid in the American Health Care Act.
Members of the "Coalition for Meaningful Public Policy, Disability Rights, and Empower Services" or COMPADRES say if passed, the proposed changes will reduce the amount of federal funding for medicaid while also cutting off nearly 1 million disabled Floridians from access to health care.
The proposed legislation has already passed congress and will now go before the Senate.
