TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee City Commission has a lot to review over the next few days.
That's because 93 people applied for the vacant commission seat.
The deadline to apply was Saturday. The field of 93 includes some who ran for office this year.
They represent a range of career fields from law and education to real estate and development.
Each of the city commissioners will choose his or her top three. That list needs to be handed in by noon on Wednesday.
From there, the city treasurer-clerk will create a "short list" of the top five vote-getters, including any tie scorers.
The commission will pick from that group in a public meeting on December 31st.
