DEERFIELD, Ill. (ABC News) -- Apple Pay could be here sometime this week.
An internal memo from Walgreens suggests Apple Pay - the new payment system that allows iPhone 6 owners to pay for their purchases with their phones - will launch at its store this Saturday.
A Saturday launch is unusual, it is the busiest day of the week for retailers and could cause havoc if the system goes down.
But Walgreens appears confident in the service, which promises to be the simplest, quickest and most secure payment method.
