GULF COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Florida Highway Patrol reports on fatal car crash in Gulf County, Fla.
On Wednesday, July 5, Faletta Leown Davis was traveling eastbound on U.S. 98 west of Higgins Road. The 19 year old traveled onto the south grass shoulder and began to spin counterclockwise.
The car continued to travel southeast into the wooded area of the shoulder, where the car collided with two trees.
The car rested at the edge of the south grass shoulder of U.S. 98, facing north.
She was not wearing a seat beat at the time of the crash and it is unknown, if alcohol was involved.
Davis died at the scene.
