TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Starting next week, several roads will be impacted by construction in Downtown Tallahassee.
The City of Tallahassee says that crews will begin three week long project to repave Duval Street between Gaines Street and Tennessee Street starting on Monday.
To minimize traffic, crews will pave one lane at a time, leaving two lanes of traffic open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
The city says improvements are also being made at the Capitol parking garage.
The construction will require that Madison Street between Monroe and Adams streets be closed from 9 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26, through 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29.
Unlike the construction on Duval Street, this will be a 24-hour closure and detours will be clearly posted to help you get around the work zone.
