WAKULLA COUNTY (WTXL) - Vandals hit another Wakulla County church on Wednesday.

"KKK" was yet again spray painted, this time at the Mount Olive Primitive Baptist Church #2. This is the third incident just this week, prompting an FBI investigation into what they describe as a hate crime.

These three letters found yet again at another Wakulla County church.

"These crimes are senseless," said Anginita Rosier, the founder of the new Wakulla County NAACP chapter.

She says church members here at the the Mount Olive Primitive Baptist Church #2 and the Wakulla County community aren't going to let this break their spirit. Church members here have already painted over the letters that were on the wall here.

"It's sad and I pray for deliverance because there's some hate here," said Pastor Samuel Hayes.

Deputies would only tell us it's an open investigation.

"They did say they had some leads," said Pastor Hayes. "They were working on some tire tracks."

For now churchgoers are remaining optimistic, and they hope the vandalism doesn't continue.

The local NAACP is organizing a prayer vigil, asking the community to come together. It's set for Thursday at  6:30 p.m. at the New Bridge Hope Missionary Church.
