GADSDEN COUNTY, FL (WTXL) - County commissioners could approve the purchase of land that will be the home to Gadsden County's newest fire station.
The county said it has been looking to build a fire station for the Dogtown area for some time.
The owners of a 2 acre parcel of land on Salem Road have offered to sell the property to the county for $5,000.
During the Tuesday commission meeting, they are scheduled to discuss buying the land as well as order a survey of the property.
