VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - An anonymous donor with the group "We Ride to Provide" is helping to protect Valdosta K-9 officers.
The department is expanding and they recently acquired three more police K-9's, growing the unit to seven dogs, but the dogs still needed some safety equipment.
An anonymous individual with the group "We Ride to Provide" sponsored all seven dogs, and the Valdosta Police Department K-9 unit received seven K-9 first aid kits, one for each dog.
"We Ride to Provide" is an organization which honors K-9's who have risked their lives in the line of duty.
