TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Residents and families here in Tallahassee had the opportunity this weekend to learn more about the importance of keeping local water clean.
Saturday the city partnered with the Big Bend Chapter of Florida Water Environment Association to host the 2nd Annual Florida Water Festival.
The event was designed to be fun, yet informative. Water experts were available to answer questions and educate residents on the necessity of protecting Florida's water resources. The festival also had face painting, prize drawings, food and music.
It all took place at Cascades Park on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
