LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Christmas may be over, but a Leon County farm opened its gates on Saturday to keep the celebration going in a special way.
Redemptive Love Farm in Miccosukee held its second annual "Christmas at the Farm" Saturday afternoon.
Guests got to ride horses and ponies, feed llamas, pet a whole bunch of other animals, and take pictures with a Christmas unicorn.
The Carroll family said a lot of people wanted to stop by their farm after Christmas, so they decided to invite the community before they put the decorations away.
"We're a Christian business, and our faith means a lot to us," said owner Shannon Carroll. "We love Jesus, and we really have tried to have a whole heart and method in our family that we just want our kids to serve others and love others. I even joke we sell joy here at the farm. We don't just sell an experience, but we really hope that everybody leaves a little bit more joyful than they came."
The farm's newest animal is a baby llama born just after Christmas. Fittingly, the family named her "Noel."
