TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum was out Monday doing what he can for residents after the storm.
He went to one of the Red Cross shelters at sail high school, where he shuttled several people to their homes.
Gillum says the storm was not as devastating as expected, but there are some major damages throughout the city to be addressed.
He says so far there are no reported loss of lives for the Tallahassee area. He also said that if you don't have to do not get on the street. He is urging residents to stay in doors while they assess damage.
