TAVARES, Fla. - Officials say an alligator bit a central Florida man on the arm near a canal behind his house.
Lake EMS reports that the 68-year-old man was taken to a nearby hospital after being attacked Wednesday afternoon at his Tavares home. The Orlando Sentinel reports that the man's injuries weren't life-threatening.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Lake County Sheriff's Office are investigating.
