TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - For U.S. Representative District 5 seat Democratic Primary, incumbent Al Lawson beat Alvin Brown by a wide margin of over 20 percent.
Lawson will face GOP candidate Virginia Fuller in the General election.
Al Lawson spoke about his victory Tuesday night at his watch party.
"This new generation, I'm out there fighting for them over the last 18 months to make sure that they have an America that they can be proud of," said Lawson. "An America that you now that you've elected someone that will be there to fight for you because you represent our future."
