JACKSONVILLE, FL (WTXL) - After a missing Jacksonville 4-year-old was found safe with family, new details have come out surrounding the child's father and a woman that was found dead.
The Jacksonville Sherriff's Office said they have reason to believe that Norris Dail, Sr., the 4-year-old's father, was connected to the woman that was found dead near where the child was reported last seen prior to finding him.
Deputies said that they responded to a call to the 3800 block of University Boulevard in reference to a welfare check. When they arrived, they found the body of a dead woman inside.
The address is also where police reported the 4-year-old was seen last at.
Investigators said they suspect foul play and are looking for Dail.
Dail is described as a 26-year-old black male. He was last seen wearing a light gray shirt with black shorts. Police said he may be driving a silver 2000 Mitsubishi Gallant with a Maryland tag of 1BK9546.
If you have any information on Dail's location, call the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at (904) 630-0500.
