ADEL, GA (WTXL) - The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says they have arrested an Adel City Councilman.
According to GBI, Dextinn Chandler Hill, a City Councilman and Cook County Primary School teacher was arrested on Friday.
Officials say Hill is accused of having inappropriate contact with a female Cook County High School student.
Hill is being charged with one count of child molestation and one count of statutory rape. Hill was taken to the Cook County Jail.
The Cook County School Board says Hill has been placed on administrative leave.
