LEON COUNTY, FL. (WTXL) - The Leon County Sheriff's Office wants to make sure you're prepared in the event of an active shooter situation.
Deputies say, when someone opens fire you only have minutes to respond.
Being prepared and aware can help keep you safe. That's why deputies are hosting another "Active Shooter and Workplace Violence Symposium."
The symposium will be held Thursday, February 18th. The event is free and open to the public.
