TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Seniors, caregivers, and community members are invited out to the annual Active Living Expo Thursday.

In total, it's expected that several hundred people will take advantage of the expo. WTXL's Jennifer Myers was live with the latest.

It's estimated that there will be over 90 booths for community members and caregivers alike to visit and gather information from.

This expo takes place on the main floor, second floor, and first floor, all areas full of helpful information.

These booths range anywhere from health care providers and screenings, to government agencies, to even downsizing your home, all with one goal in mind.

"Being informed. We have a lot of resources in our community from our senior living aspects to home health," said Kristy Carter, the assistant program supervisor of the Tallahassee Senior Center. "Making sure folks have and see all the different options in our community, along with connecting with, maybe you want to modify your home, and so we have those kinds of resources here also."

The Active Living Expo will continue through 8 p.m. Thursday and will resume again Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. with complimentary valet parking.

The entrance fee for the Active Living Expo is $3.
