TALLAHASSEE, FL -- A workshop in Leon County is helping to provide local teachers with educational activities they can take back to the classroom and it's all about gardening.
Attendees will use school gardens and real-life agriculture concepts to teach pre-kindergarten through 12th grade students science, math, social studies, health and language arts. They'll also create hands on activities to reinforce lessons taught.
'Garden Make N' Take Teacher's Workshop kicks off Saturday, November 19th from 10am-2pm.
